    "Yard" is a bit pejorative in middle class, Britsh English.

    Looks great.  Wish I had the time; I spend mine on tending the background lawn.  I've seen something similar, but more permanent, in willow.
     location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

    I spent many years plaiting ponies/horses for the show ring, then doing French plaits in my daughter's hair, so I think I'll give that a miss @M33R4.... :D

    They've done a neat job though - I'll give them that  ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    It does look nice and probably not difficult (at least not for those of us used to doing a french plait with hair- it looks like more-or-less the same thing but only bringing in new strands from one side), but would it stay like that for any length of time as the grass grew?
