Herbs

I am trying to grow various herbs from seed. They are in small plant pots on my windowsill. They are getting a lot of natural light as the window is south facing.
However they are very ‘leggy’
Can anyone help please.

@polly_ap What exactly are you growing?

Unfortunately, what you think of as "a lot of light" isn't always what a seedling considers sufficient ;)
You have perhaps started them a tads early for the conditions you can offer them and unless you can get them out in a sheltered position during the day, you will need to live with it.  You could try turning them if they are tending to lean towards the window but sowing too early is a mistake so many of us make - especially when we are desperate to sow something.
If you think they will survive and "beef up" enough to pot on and get outside just treat them as well as possible.  Alternatively, if you still have seeds left, give it another few weeks and try again.  Good luck :)

What we troglodytes regard as bright light is not shared by many plants.  I personally would have started about mid-March.
