Beech Nut casings

Anyone want 16 compost bags full of beech nut casings (and a few of the nuts as well)?
They do not get crushed in my shredder and don't seem to decompose on the soil. These have built up over the last 3 years to a depth of about 3 inches in places.
If I had an incinerator and somewhere to put onei would try burning thehm, but otherwise?

I use them as mulch. they do eventually decompose but as you say it takes a long time.

They might work as a mulch or for a rustic-style path, in place of coarse-ish chipped bark. I'd have some if I lived near you.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

They are extremely painful to kneel on to weed too! The woodland path is covered in them (as is the gravel drive).
