Pothos not growing

Hey there! I've had thede pothos cuttings for probably more than 6 months and pretty much the've grown little to none at all. I got them from a friend and I'm not sure what the problem might be. It might be that I water them to little. I normally water them when the soil is almost dry. I've noticed that for 1 of the 2 pots, the roots have barely grown. I propagated them in water and the roots are almost the same as when I put them in soil. I know that pothos should be a fast growing plant so it's a bit strange to me. The pothos I bought from the store are doing just fine.

Try adding a liquid feed  to the water every time you water them. Give it a good soak, for an hour, then let the water drain out so that it is not standing it water.  Don't let the compost dry out completely before you water again.
  • I do water them from time to time with liquid fertilizers, plus there is vermiculite in the soil. I'll start doing it more regularly with a lesser dose of fertilizer.

I have 2 pothos growing in my north-facing kitchen since 2019.
They grow well during the warmer months when there's better light, but barely grow at all over the darker winter months.
I think you just need to wait - now we've passed the equinox they should start growing.
I feed mine with diluted seaweed extract about once every 2 weeks, but only when they're growing. Over winter I leave the compost quite dry.

Don't water more than the small roots can absorb.

As a side point:  I have never noticed fertiliser make any short term difference.  Certainly not to root growth.  I do it, as a knee jerk response to all the promotion, but only for plants that have been growing well for over 4 months.
