Tree identification please

    Good to see its shape but we'd need a close up of the leaves to identify it.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    The leaves look like a sycamore from what I can just about see.

    It does look like some kind of acer, and a fairly large-leaved one. Maybe sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) or Norway maple (Acer platanoides).

    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
