Plum pollination groups: Avalon and Warwickshire Drooper

I planted two young plum trees, an Avalon and a Warwickshire Drooper (both on St Julian rootstock, bareroot) in March 2018.

The Avalon is partially self-fertile, pollination group C.  The Warwickshire Drooper is self-fertile, pollination group C.

The Avalon flowers much earlier than the Warwickshire Drooper. Last year there was hardly any overlap. Neither tree fruited. Given that the Drooper is self-fertile I'm guessing that they're both too young to fruit, rather than it being a pollination problem?

Am I being impatient, or should I be worried that they don't flower at the same time?  I've been tempted to add a third tree. I've got room for a dwarf variety and was considering an Aprimira.

I didn't, because my question was about whether there's a problem if two pollinating trees flower at different times.
