Growing garlic chives

Hi,
What is the secret to grow garlic chives?
I sowed several times, and tried seeds from 3 different sources with zero germination.

    Maybe pick up a couple of plants from a garden centre or an online specialist in herbs? They seem to be easy to grow for me and reliably flower and produce lots of leaves, particularly nice in scrambled eggs especially when accompanied by some smoked salmon. Admittedly haven't tried from seed.
