Where to buy/ can you sell me you DA rose Lady Emma Hamilton?!

I'm gutted to find out that the David Austin rose Lady Emma Hamilton is discontinued. I was meant to buy it this winter but I completely forgot and now I am heartbroken. I have looked everywhere online and can't find any seller.

Does anyone have a cutting that can be sold to me? I would LOVE to have it! Thanks. I'm in South West UK.

Perryhill closed last autumn, sad to say, I used to love it there and Mr Chapman was always so helpful..

I shall ask some members on the Roses thread who have it, to see if they can help..  you would have got more response to your question on there I think..

I should add, some members now get their roses from TCL in Holland who offer this rose, but it's out of stock at the moment, unsurprisingly.. we hope they will have it back in stock later in the year..

    Thanks for the heads-up @Marlorena

Aww. It sold out in under 15 mins when they released a few for sale before withdrawing it.

OP I think I saw your post on Facebook but I forgot to reply to it and now can't find which group it was. There is a good group called Growing Roses in the UK for lads and lasses who chat roses 24/7 and try to root cuttings... I would recommend joining it. I will try to root you a cutting (I got a potted one in Dec but I was very lucky) but in the meantime please keep an eye on both TCL and ebay as it has popped up pretty regularly on there.

I'm sure you'll get it by hook or by crook.

I think they are German, don't know if they send to the UK but they have 5 bare root in stock.

  • Thank you @Busy-Lizzie!! I have been contacted and potentially have 1 rooted cutting to buy, or, the website you found looks like they do ship to Britan (with crazy shipping - but I might make it work buying a load). Thank you so much!
