I think the worry was that multipurpose would be too nutrient dense. But it sounds as though that's not the case, and the more I think about it the more convinced I am that I used multipurpose last year. I usually get a few self seeders in the garden.
When I was a student, I once spotted one growing out of a drain in my college!

Yes, they will go into multipurpose, as usual (broken finger permitting :o )

That's what you get for trying to make holes in frozen ground .... ;)

Joking apart - hope that's not inconveniencing you too much.  :/

I give tomatoes to my giant snails,  the seeds pass through and they germinate in the tank. 🐌

In 50 years of sowing seeds, I've never, ever used seed compost

    Ha ha!
It's not really painful but I think I need to go to the doctor's with it asap. I actually did it last year, and didn't do anything about it (my mother had just died and I had Covid complications plus it wasn't bothering me that much). Don't know why it's suddenly become a problem. It feels like the bones are moving around and it's a bit tender if I try to grip anything.
It will be more inconvenient if it has to be rebroken and set and kept clean, but first step get it looked at. Perhaps there is nothing to be done.
If I had to have a plaster cast on it, there wouldn't be much room for people to autograph it alas :) (Little finger, and possibly the one next to it too.)

Don’t know about civet cats but coffee passes through me fairly quickly. 🚽

    Too much information @Lyn.... ;)

I know what you mean about these kinds of injuries @REMF33 ,and when you have other, rather important things, on your mind, it's easy to just get on and ignore it if it's not giving you too much bother. I had my big toe broken decades ago [horse] and they can't exactly put a splint on it. I had to have the toe bandaged up as the toenail was removed in the process, and then had  one of those 'boots' to wear. My right foot is all splayed because of it.
Definitely get it looked at though - they might just strap it up or something - tied to the next finger. Perhaps a bit of bone has broken off and has moved?
