Sulphuric acid and potassium sulphate in water-useful or useless?

    i'm based in the UK, yes. But this is being done outside the UK, hence, the questionable water quality sadly.
    Whereabouts are you growing and what crops ?  Are they growing in the ground or are you using a Hydroponic system ?
    Whichever method you are using, I'd agree with the comments above that Sulphuric acid isn't a good idea.
    Do you know what contaminants are actually  in your water supply to make you think you need to take such drastic measures ?
    As much info as possible would maybe help with alternative/workable suggestions :)
  • i'm growing in Pakistan. bear in mind this is diluted sulphuric acid that i use. i'm growing barley, wheat, oats. the soil is very alkaline and so i reduce it's ph by adding diluted sulphuric acid. my question for now is solely: will mixing Sulphuric acid and potassium sulphate together in water result in the formation of a precipitate that'll render the exercise useless? thanks :)  philippasmith2 said:

    I fear a forum orientated to gardening in the UK is not the place to ask about cereal farming in Pakistan. You’d do better seeking local expertise.
