I shall try vittorio from Sainsbury's and some I got in Lidl the other day were nice too. Don't know variety chucked packaging.

Dried and saved or fresh from the fruit - both seem to work as do Pepper seeds.

It works a treat growing them straight from the tomato. I planted a slice of a small plum tomato from a shop once and I had seedlings coming out of my ears. The tomato just naturally decomposes. The plants grew very well too.

Straight out of the tomato or pepper, I don’t even bother to wash them.
