Trailing plants

Can anyone tell me what the trailing plants are that grow below Notre Dame Paris, the ones that grow down the wall to the river?

    Maybe ivy?
There's a picture in this article, but the resolution isn't good enough to see the leaves clearly.

Maybe @Jacquimcmahon can tell you as she lives in that area.

Hi, the pictures in that article are all artists impressions of what the revamped area around the cathedral should look like. The real ones are huge! No idea what they actually are but they are growing up the wall (cathedral side), over the top then down the other side ( river seine side)! They are evergreens and extremely thick. You can’t get near them at the moment, otherwise I would go have a closer look for you.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
