    It'll be fine. It can be a little bit claggy so be careful not to overwater it before it's got started into growth because it won't take up much water before it's got leaves.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

  • So I potted up the hibiscus and noticed that the roots were really long and went quite far up the stem. I chose a longer than usual pot to accommodate the roots. Is this normal for hibiscus?
