It'll be fine. It can be a little bit claggy so be careful not to overwater it before it's got started into growth because it won't take up much water before it's got leaves.

So I potted up the hibiscus and noticed that the roots were really long and went quite far up the stem. I chose a longer than usual pot to accommodate the roots. Is this normal for hibiscus?
