Can you harvest coffee beans from a small potted coffee plant?

Hello, I'm working on a design project for a coffee plant terrarium. I was wondering if I could produce beans from a coffee plant around 30-40 cm tall (the amount is not as important). Or make it flower, at least.
And what would an optimum terrarium need for a coffee plant? Thank you in advance for your time :)

Thank you! I was just wondering if they needed to reach a certain size to grow beans. I could not catch such info on this page.

Coffee plants that I saw with beans on were around 6ft tall and 4ft wide.

It's actually quite easy -look at where coffee plants grow and how the beans are produced.  Can you replicate the climate, conditions and time span?  If not, it's hardly worth your time and effort.
You can grow "Coffee plants" but you wouldn't be doing it in a Terrarium for very long. They make nice plants ( I've grown them myself ), but much like other "exotics", you aren't going to be a coffee bean producer anytime soon.
You don't say whether the project is simply your own idea or whether you have been set it by an educational facility - if the latter, I'd certainly query the reasoning behind it :)

    Coffea arabica.
I doubt that it can be done...unless you have a huge heated green house like Kew or the Eden project.

@pansyface I'm sure it'll be worth the wait ! I know it can take ten years for a walnut to fruit - yours is holding on a bit isn't it? Maybe this year.. 😊

I wonder if the design project for the terrarium will be up for sale soon.
