Planting

Dry medium shade what evergreen shrubs will grow? To brighten up a dull corner.  About 12x12 feet.

    Garrya elliptica James Roof does Ok in shade. It does tend to lean a bit towards the light.

    Aucuba japonica will tolerate those conditions.

    You will struggle to find something evergreen that grows to that size and also has the ability to lift a dark corner. 
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Oh sorry yes thank you @Plantminded too busy multi tasking. Should concentrate.
    Euonymous Emerald and Gold might be a possible. It isn't so bright in shade but if size is right you could take a look. It might be best to consider a group of three to fill the space.

    Hypericum, and another vote for fatsia japonica.
