My Erodium 'Spanish Eyes' after having a tough summer last year with the heat finally decided to do its 'thing' all winter.
Constant blooms since September!

That's astonishing and so pretty @madpenguin, I think mine's given up the ghost, I must go and look for it.

Erodiums are amazing plants related to hardy geraniums. They flower for months if deadheaded. Heat and drought tolerant. They hate wet weather but with good drainage and shelter normally bounce back even if they look dreadful at the moment. I grow E chrysanthum it is in the ground looks good but no flowers.
@madpenguin It has obviously loved being in a pot in a sheltered spot. A plant for the future especially when it flowers in the winter months. My plants flowered better than ever last summer even in the heat.

I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

My little erodium flowered its socks off all summer. It's in my sloping gravel bed so has good drainage. Now, after this cold winter, it looks so sad it may be dead. I thought they were quite hardy. I hope it bounces back but I have my doubts.
