Swapping spots for houseplants

I've got two heart leaved philodendron plants. They were one but I split and repotted. One in a brighter spot has put on lots of growth and the one in the darker spot only very little (as one would expect).

My question is can I swap them around (shady one to brighter spot and vice versa) or will it upset the one used to more light?

    They do grow better in bright, indirect light.  They are quite robust though so you could try making the swap intervals quite short, say every couple of weeks, and then extend them if they seem happy.

    Just brighter, no problem.  Brightness from sun, do it gradually. 
     location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

    I've tried that with other houseplants of the same species and they don't seem to mind.  Your plant doesn't like a drop in temperature though, so provided they're in the same room and one's not close to a radiator, they should be fine.

    They're in different rooms but similar temperatures. I might wait until it's a bit warmer before I swap them.
