Shoots from Lilac?

Hi - I have these growing near what I think is a Lilac - There are lots of them, can anyone tell me what it is and what I should do? it is a new garden to me so just trying to tidy things up and see what's growing. Thank you - Lisa

    Lilac does sucker a lot. The shoots on the left and centre look like lilac suckers but the one on the right with the pinnate leaf (divided into leaflets) is something else.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    I just cut them off at ground level, leaving some as ground cover until they get too large or untidy.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.
