  Just be careful what software you download as there a lot of pretend helpful ones out there which can infect and cause havoc with your pc.

  I'm afraid it doesn't matter what software you use to physically 'draw' a plan. Your son will still have to understand the basics of designing a garden and planting plans. Has he done all of that?
  It's not like the interior of a house where stuff stays the same all year round, and doesn't get bigger or change with the seasons. Plants don't work like curtains or chairs 

  It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  a very good afternoon 
  
  he's been doing all the groundwork for some 5 years now with all the hard landscaping and achievements standards etc has won him awards for quality workmanship. He is working on soft landscaping all the time. Now wishes to present illustrations to intended clients but in a computer generated imagery.
