Seedlings

Hi, I’ve got some seeds and they say to sow January - March on the majority of them. However they say they can’t go outside permanently till end of May. What do I do with the seedlings between now and then? I don’t have much room. Thanks

If you don't have much space, be strict and don't sow too many! I don't have anywhere good to put them either but I can't resist sowing seeds. They then get potted on and every windowsill I have is covered and it gets very annoying!
  • Without knowing which seeds you have, it's a little difficult to say.  However, the dates given on the the seed packets are just a guide - the earliest you can reasonably sow but your location and the conditions you have available have to be taken into account.
The last thing you want is for the seeds to germinate and then to suffer from lack of light and space to prick out/pot on until you can safely plant out. Sow them later when you can deal with them :)
