  • We had Kiwi. 2 plants one was  sold as self fertile. Nothing happened after many many years. One flowered but then no fruit. Went back to the nursery and they gave us 2 plants, one female and the other male.We are still waiting to see what the plants will produce.

Anyone tried pineapple guava? Or paw paws?
Trying yes Debs, got some young plants (9cm pots) two years ago and they are all doing well and growing. Survived the winter outside even though I lost half of my Mediterranean plants. See, to be doing well, I hear that the Paw Paw grows slowly. Pinapple Guava is faster. Still small but doing OK.

Kiwi "Jenny" is self fertile - don't know whether or not it is still available but did well for me years ago.

@philippasmith2 "jenny" is still a popular cultivar and commonly available around here. I have two and they are looking pretty good at the moment, so fingers crossed for fruit later in the year.

Wishing you all the best of luck with your exotic fruits!
