Oh it’s lovely now isn’t it . Mine is very new and not very big but I do love them . I used to love to see broom growing on the moors and the lovely wild ones that were on the cliffs in Cornwall . Haven’t been for years ……….wonder if they’re still growing there?

Thank you bcpathome :). I was so pleased to see it was blooming this year, a very nice surprise. They do make me think of fresh salty coastal air ...

Wow Fairygirl that must have been such blustery weather to root it up!
You got me hankering after a white one now. I can imagine how they'd make a lovely backdrop for a clematis.
Yes I'm eyeing the garden centre too, got some gaps in the flowerbed  ... I can always go 'just to have a look around' you understand ...

Wind is pretty standard here - at any time of year. We notice more often if there's none!  :)
I tied it in to the [substantial]  fence behind, but it was a bridge too far for it. It's a great plant for seeing at dusk at the end of a garden too. had it in that kind of site in another garden.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Found this pic from 5 years ago

The bed is different now, and the clem was very young [Miss Bateman] but you get the idea.
