  I plant mine indoors in early March. They go into a cold g/h in early May, and out into the garden in early June.

  Thanks for your help punkdoc.  I'm intrigued to know how you come up with your user name?  I'm trying to imagine you in your surgery with your arms and neck covered in tattoos, ear and nose piercings and the most outrageous Mohican. There is one doctor in our local practice who wears odd colour socks and no shoes but I would only class him as being mildly eccentric

  More a reference to my musical tastes, although as a medical student, I did have some of the gear, for when I was socialising.
