What are these bulbous seedlings?

I've got these seedlings popping up all over the garden. At first I thought it might be a leek because I left a giant leek go to seed but the base is clearly round. I also grew shallots (didn't think any went to seed) and onions. Maybe it isn't a veg at all. If anyone recognises it it will help me decide what I should be doing with them.

    Ha, what an obvious thing to check! I have a slight cold but even with that I don't find a strong smell of any kind

    Got my husband to check. He says it 'smells like mud'.

    They don't look white enough to me. 🤔
    Looks like a shallot but I'm prepared to be corrected!

    I've got the same in my garden popping up in different places. I think, but could well be wrong, that they are a native onion like plant/weed but can't remember the correct name sorry. I'm struggling to remember if they have a tufty purplish seed head on top?

    They look like an allium of some kind. The foliage on the little sphaerocephalons appears very early, and if it's mild where you are, that's a possibility. They're appearing here, although only a few inches high.
    The foliage is narrow on them - just like that pic  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    The leaves look round … like chives. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I did wonder about chives, I used to have clumps in this garden.

    I think/hope @Fairygirl has got it because I planted drumstick allium last year so that would make sense and it is very mild.
