Scented Climbers For Small Garden

  Thanks for all your suggestions everyone. Are there any roses that can be grown against a north facing fence? I have what looks to be a Pieris which I'm not a huge fan of in a position I could utilise. It's a south facing entrance to my garden so a scented rose behind the fence there would be great if possible! I could possibly train it up and over.

  but @Redwing it can be pruned back as we have done over the years but as @Fairygirl says probably not suitable for Scotland.
