Is it safe to move a hardy geranium  (tiny monster)  from a pot to the garden now or should I wait a bit. Thanks..

Totally hardy, should be fine to do it now.
How can you lie there and think of England

If you like it and it's a big plant and you would like more plants,  you can split it and plant the divisions as separate plants. If any small bits break off they would be better put into pots and allowed to grow on a bit and planted out in a couple of months time.

Off hand, I can't think of any hardy geraniums that don't like being divided.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
