I have one of those belts with a holster. A bit like' Annie get your gun'. It was a gift from a client a Dr who had worked in A and E. She told me far safer than putting them in your pocket whilst on steps [no I didn't ask her anymore].
I must have saved a fortune over the years as that is where my secateurs live, not thrown in someone's wheelie bin by mistake. Not super cool and trendy.
I did have one of the Felco cone shaped holster ones but a waste of time the secateurs just dropped out. I use flower arranging scissors for deadheading.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Out tools live in an old plastic grow house . I wipe them now and then but not regularly. Also I don’t own a dress , even though I’m female ,haven’t worn a frock in donkeys years .

I used to not bother about sharpening garden cutting tools until I read in a gardening magazine, maybe this one, about Sharpal All-in1. Great to hold and sharpens everything. Not expensive either.
