I think the Gardener's World team can be very proud of the programmes produced this year. They have taken on a different vibe. Not always Monty's garden to switch things round a little. More on the environmental problems facing gardeners today and thinking of other ways to interest gardeners of all ages and understanding. I have enjoyed this years series far more than any other I can remember, thankyou Gardener's World.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
"Adam Frost visits Mary Berry at home to hear about another of her great passions in life, gardening.
Mary shares her love of cut flowers and some tips on freezing herbs, while Adam shows her how to sow the tiniest of snapdragon seeds with a cocktail stick - something Mary has an abundance of !
Meanwhile, Rachel de Thame visits a ‘cut your own flower' field in Dorset; Frances Tophill joins garden designer Tom Massey to look at the ways urban greening projects can breathe new life into our towns and cities; Nick Bailey visits a garden near Dorchester bursting with more than 350 different rose varieties; and there's some home-grown produce on the menu as Joe Swift visits the kitchen gardeners at Le Manoir Hotel in Oxfordshire."
