It can be fun to play "Defensive Bingo" ©:  make a comment about civics as see how fast you can cross off the word responses "smug", "worthy", "holy" and "snob". Hours of fun on any social media, including this forum.

My wife suggested that, but it's good for me to get my ear attuned to a Scottish accent. My wife has already booked a holiday for us next year, which will be mainly in Scotland. She's always wanted to go to Edinburgh, and she knows I cancelled a castle/cycling trip, in order to go to Guernsey for our honeymoon instead.

I spent 5 years in Scotland @Songbird-2 so it's a good memory test for me! The best show on TV at the moment!
    I would agree @Plantminded🙂 It's great. 👍

That would be particularly interesting to me as I often dry flowers but never pressed any.

The first of the Winter specials, this Friday (8th) at 8pm.

In South Yorkshire, Arit Anderson visits Professor Nigel Dunnett to find out how the man responsible for transforming many public green spaces tends his own garden.

This is the bit I'm most interested in. I've seen lots of photos from the visit on Instagram, but it would be good to see the space on video.
Always love Carol too, of course.

So were we! It was truly amazing but I wouldn't like/be able to hike everythink up that slope. What a view though.
