...I'd love to have the room to grow cactus like the rocker very envious of his collection.
I felt a bit sorry for his partner losing her greenhouse to the expanding cactus collection! Not sure that I'd be so easy-going about it.
Yes, I skipped forward after that...
(Mind you, I wouldn't want a spouse who took any interest in gardening to be honest. Mine is ideal- he obligingly praises particular plants when prompted, and skims over the nursery orders in our bank statements.)
I liked Nick Bailey's dog but wondered how on earth he secured that ladder rig-up overhead. It didn't strike me as very stable-looking.... and that was before he showed us his potting table.😄
"With spring gaining momentum, Adam Frost gets to work on his veg plot and plants his first lot of potatoes. He introduces roses to his borders, and in a quest to increase biodiversity, has a radical plan for his lawn.
Joe Swift meets a garden designer who, facing the challenge of two awkward, adjoining plots, transformed them into wonderful, cohesive spaces. And Rekha Mistry demonstrates how to grow the perfect onion from seed and has a go at growing cotton.
Plus more of the films that have been sent in by viewers."
Looking forward to another hour of GW. Although in our household, it's a tussle as to whether we watch GW live, or Highclere: Behind the Scenes.
I think it's the latter tonight!! Unless my wife relents.
Why not get a recorder? Mine can record three programmes at once. You would be free to watch whenever you like, as well as fast-forward through adverts and boring bits.

I'll watch Highclere then I can FF the boring bits of GW on iPlayer
I liked most of it this week (the Joe Swift piece not so much - I didn't warm to the garden). The viewers' videos seemed better than usual too. @Hostafan1 you'd better have your finger on the FF button for the shots of Adam's scene-stealing cat. He's gorgeous (the cat, that is ).

So I don't actually miss it - just don't see it on the Friday evening.
