Paraffin heater wick issues.

Hi I wonder if anyone can offer advice  , I’ve recently bought an old paraffin heater a Valor L210 . It’s worked perfectly but I’ve had to change the wick and now I can’t get the fitting back over it .It’s has if the wick is a fraction too wide , but I ordered the correct wick for the model. Has anyone else had this issue?if so how did you resolve it?

    Are you able to contact the company/person you bought the heater from ?  If the model is an old one, it's perfectly possible that the wick size has altered slightly to suit the more modern one.  It seems to be a fact of life with clothing and footwear so perhaps the paraffin heaters are not immune.
    I think there are a couple of people on here who do use them so hopefully one of them will spot your query and be able to offer some useful advice.
