Planted tulips early February

I found a bag of expensive well sprouted tulip bulbs yesterday and put them in the ground straight away.
What are my chances for them coming up this year?

Unlikely @katrinkemp, although you might be lucky and get a few, but planting them will at least mean they should get some growth, which is needed to bulk up the bulbs for the following  year. It'll largely depend on how healthy the bulbs are, and how far on.

However, not all tulips reliably return, so it may be a bit hit and miss. If they're species/botanical tulips, those will return though, assuming the conditions are suitable for them.  :)

They'll come up (sprouting shows that they're still alive, not rotten/mouldy or dried out). They might not flower well though, and if they do flower they might be late.
