Succulent identification

Could anybody please help in the identification of this succulent?  I am suspecting some species of Aloe although I am not sure.  It also appears to be producing flower spikes and, indeed, some Aloe spp. flowers do appear to look like this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Looks like a peperomia flower. I'll have a better look on the PC later.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    It does look like a peperomia, maybe P. ferrierae. It's quite commonly available and called the happy bean plant because it looks like french beans.

    Thank you both so much for your responses.  It certainly looks like the Happy Bean Plant (what a wonderful name!).
