    Sorry @plant pauper, only just seen your question.
    I'd always go house walls for Parthenocissus of any kind rather than a shed. If you're worried about the render, you may want to reconsider, but if it's in good condition, it's worth doing. If the render's ropey, it would probably pull bits off, so it depends on whether you want to fork out for that first  ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
