Palm Tree top broke

The top of this type of palm tree broke during a storm. Does anyone know if this will grow back? And if I should do anything special to help?

    I don't think a palm comes back from being beheaded. There might be a chance of seeing sprouts coming up from ground level, but once the main stem is cut it is a goner.
    "What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".

    I believe palms (in variety) have evolved to survive strong winds.  My logic (from a big distance) is that the top was already dead before it blew off.

    I have never seen a true palm that has a forked top, so on my limited knowledge I would deduce that your tree is a gonner.

    But do get local knowledge.

    If: one picture is worth a thousand words, then one good looking at is worth a thousand pictures.
