    Thanks @Fairygirl good tip 👍
I'll certainly try the podcast...I don't watch much TV as it's all too depressing so I distract myself with audiobooks and  podcasts, so I'm certainly looking forward to that one! Much more my kind of entertainment... Thank you 😀
Found it.... Think I'll listen while doing a customers ironing before I cook the roast....😊 I already feel my anxiety levels dropping

The wee bit about the wood chips in the owl nest is fascinating.
Hope you enjoy them. There's a recent one [maybe two weeks ago?] with an item about squirrel pox after the recent outbreak further south too.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I already am, thank you! I'll listen to them all.... They keep me company at home and work.
Glad I don't get squirrels.... There are a lot in the town as Ipswich is blessed with lots of parks but pigeons are an expensive nuisance trying to get the finch food!

    Got it.  Thanks @Fairygirl :)

The BBC Open Country podcasts are great too ... and the Radio Norfolk The Countryside Hour ones  :)

We used to get about 15 goldfinches in our old garden, they made a massive mess but I loved them so I could forgive it 😆 here we get goldfinches although only 2-4 at a time, but we also get bullfinches and greenfinches along with a whole host of more diverse birds so I’m happy!

I found wilko were the best price for a big bag of sunflower hearts.

Sorry - I didn't see your replies @WonkyWomble and @Dovefromabove. Hope you enjoy them. I listen to the comedy podcast too on R. Scotland - Noising Up. It's on Friday mornings and repeated on Saturdays. Bit like a cross between Mock the Week & Dead Ringers, although you may not know some of the characters. V funny    :)

We don't have a Wilko anywhere nearby @zugenie, which is a pity because they often seem to have good offers, but we have a Home Bargains not too far away, which is usually good pricewise for sunflower hearts.  :)

@Fairygirl that is a shame, I looked at ordering them online before they had them in the store here and the postage cost made it less of a good deal!

Yes I like Wilko for some stuff, but it would cost more than postage to drive into town and park! And I hate shopping. 😄
