  Kinda seems like a poorly-designed survey made for selling marketing results to retailers I wish they'd just be more upfront with the motivation for these things.

  There is no info about who is conducting this survey. Why not, I wonder?  As already pointed out, it seems to be poorly thought out.  If you want to do bird surveys stick with the established ones run by BTO or RSPB or you local ornithological society.

  Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.
