    It's not frivolous for some people. I know a lady (living alone) who has a tremor and is unable to safely use knives. She buys ready-chopped fresh veg sometimes, as a change from frozen.

    Yes I totally see that @JennyJ - I have bought for people when they couldn’t chop or stand for long etc. I was thinking it is frivolous (as in expensive) if you are capable. 

    There must be a ‘market’ for it as they seem commonplace in SMs.
