    I feel sick.
    I have a strong suspicion that the definitions have an American bias.
    Bogies are partially solidified snot.
    Snot fills a hankie or cannot be flicked - it clings
    A bogie can be flicked.
    Degustation is beyond my ken. But  I have observed  those who have a guilty pleasure using their pinkie to flick it into their mouth - much like a frog catching a fly.
    Then there's snotty eggs
