Putting advice across to others is certainly a skill that can be difficult to learn and rewarding when it is received with thanks. I posted advice to a new gardener only last week, their reply showed alot of clear basic garden knowledge. Something their first post hadn't put across. I know I don't always grasp the situation or gardening problem but with a kind approach, I hope I am forgiven.
If I take time, use my patience to explain and stay calm, that is when my thoughts come across more clearly for someone else to understand. Plant ID's in particular have made me stop and think. I try to research the botany before posting, something new to me.
Ecology is always in my thoughts too as it is a big worry for us all, important advice to put across to any new gardener who is unsure. Answering questions on this forum helps build gardening confidence not only for the poster but the helper too. Respect for a stranger is just as important as a friend. Sorry this is just about me thanks if you have read it ! I am off to the garden now.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
@Dovefromabove thank you so much! I'd love some, and I don't care what colour they are. I'm thinking that a big patch of them would look ace in my front lawn under the tree - it's really dull out there. Will message you. 👍
