Ligustrum Balls

Hi, my ligustrum seems to have been damaged by the cold snap. All the leaves have dropped off some of the pom poms which are very large. Do they recover or am I likely to have a bit of growth here and there making them unsightly? TIA

They should do - privet all over the country has had a bit of a bashing. Privet isn't 100% evergreen, although in many places it's barely affected by winter weather - places that get very little frosts/ice/low temps.
All you can do is wait and see how well they revive once temps/weather improve .
Are they in the ground, or in pots?

  • In the ground and very well established. Thanks FG, it sounds like there's hope.

Are they the smaller leaved ready-pruned ones..  I think these are lss hardy.

  • I think they are smaller leafed but ready-pruned?? I prune them at least 4 times each year.
