    Put mine in the front garden, surrounded by tarmac once I knew they were vigorous. I then ignored them as spoiling them for the previous two years got me no where. After being covered in mildew this last hot summer they flowered and fruited..but it was inedible soooo bitter I was worried I had poisoned myself! 

    Has anyone eaten the berries and liked them?
