Might be slightly easier then, especially if you have a sheltered enough site I'll message Lyn and she'll hopefully have some ideas if she's around. It will probably mean keeping plants undercover - g'house etc, for longer, and trying to force them. I don't grow lots of annual flowers, so others will possibly have some ideas. The other thing you can try is looking at one of the reliable seed sellers [Chilterns for example] but just remember it can be nip and tuck re the flowering times.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I was unsure who were reliable suppliers, so thanks for this.
The only problem is - you'll have to re mortgage your house to pay for all the seed you end up buying....
I've messaged Lyn, so hopefully you'll get some ideas. There might even be an old thread about this - I seem to remember someone asking the same thing a few years ago. If you type into the search thread [top of the page] you might be lucky.

To be really honest, I wouldn’t rely on any home grown flowers from seeds to be ready for July in Glasgow. I’m in Devon, a coldish part, and don’t even sow until mid to end of March so they are ready for the garden at the end of May , beginning of June, when the frost are over.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
That was my thinking @Lyn - bit early for anything reliable. Mid to end of March is when I sow most of my stuff.
Sorry @francesmckeon21 The only other thing I can think of is to get some pelargonium plugs. There are lots of reliable sellers. They could be brought on in warm conditions, and you might get some decent sized plants by early summer.

It's stressful enough without something like that adding to it, and you'll want to be able to enjoy the day without any additional stress Depending on your budget etc, you could try supermarkets/B&Q etc for pots of dianthus or similar, but the amount you need will also be a major factor. You'd need somewhere to grow everything on as well.
