Olive Tree Issue

Evening All,
If anyone could advise on this issue with my olive tree, would be very grateful. The stem appears to have gone a powdery white.

My olive tree branches have a silvery look to them which is quite normal.

It's the sort of changing colour of the branch which I'm a little concerned about
