Late Chrysanths for cutting

For a few years I've had decent/varying results with late chrysanths for cutting. I grow them outside in 10inch pots and let them flower later in the year in my greenhouse. Question - I can't decide whether its best to take the stools out of the pots to overwinter, or to leave them in the pots. Which is best?

    I haven't grown late flowering chrysanths for a few years when I did, they were left in their pots and cuttings taken February/ March time, never used the stools as flowering plants.

    Thank you. This sounds like a good plan. I will venture into that method with some of my stock this year and see how it goes.
