Cactus identification?

  • Don't think any responses said it was a cactus ... just no one wanted to jump on a new poster and make them feel foolish ... we said it was an Aloe ... now Vic knows what sort of plant it is he can look it up and find out more about how to care for it.   :)

    I wasn't sure what it is when I posted the question.
    I just want to figure out how to get it under control.

    No need to feel guilty Vic 😂 ...non-gardeners often use the word 'cactus' as a generic term for a whole array of succulent-type plants.  We knew what you meant  ;)

    As I said, I'd cut it hard back and use the off-cuts for cuttings.
