I'd be interested to know what prices are like at the moment. I had to replace a lot of glass after the storms in March 2021 and paid £85 for about 10 panes, including some special shapes. The word on the building sites is that glass is hard to get hold of right now and prices for double glazing have risen quite a bit.
I guess glass production is very energy intensive so its unsurprising prices have seemingly gone up so much compared to say 2019.
@JennyJ yes, I work in the trade and its across the board unfortunately. My experience tells me that its 70% genuine production / shipping cost increases mixed with about 30% opportunistic profiteering.
I saw that you found a local company with excellent pricing. As someone else asked for glass pricing, I recently bought 22 new glass panes, 4mm toughened glass, cut to all different sizes and shapes (not a single standard pane in my greenhouse) - total bill including delivery was about 450 Pound. That’s in Surrey.

Thanks for the info Watsonia!
I'm happy enough with the pricing all things considered. £60 in total for the 6 panes i needed. They were all 610x610's which was really annoying as i have 7 spare 457x610's!!!
I had considered toughened glass but although its a largish greenhouse (10ft) its fairly old and i'm already thinking (dreaming) of building a more substantial structure...
I went with toughened glass as the only spot I had for the greenhouse is below an oak tree. Due to its orientation it won’t be in the shade, but plenty of dropping acorns and twigs, so I thought better safe than sorry. I build my own, but it’s only small compared to yours. I think I will Post to show it off, Im chuffed with it even if I haven’t quite finished… (cold snap stopped work).

£10 per 610 x 610 and £7 per 610 x 457
I guess from previous comments this is the going rate so i'm happy with that. Even happier that i can support a local firm.
