Help identifying poo in my garden

Hello!
I've been finding little piles of poo that look like mud in my garden for a few weeks now. I did a lot of research online but couldn't find anything similar.
There is also a little mess of acorn shell and some other bits and today I found a little plastic dinosaur!!!! I was thinking it must be a cat that brought the toy from its home, but the poo is nothing like a cat's.

Please help!!

They look like worm casts to me  :)
  • Omg yes! I had never heard of that before, but it really does look like that's what we have, thank you! That doesn't explain the nuts and the dinosaur, but they are probably unrelated.. thank you

    I agree.
Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.
  • Haha here you go

and yes, I’m convinced (and relieved) that this is the work of worms
