    Definitely not a montana. The flowers are completely different - more open rather than that bell shape, and although you get a 2nd flush of flowers with them in autumn [and it's been favourable enough for plants to be later than that] they wouldn't be that floriferous  :)
    Many of the early flowering types also look like that, and they get a 2nd flush of flowers too - if you're lucky, but I don't think any are evergreen.

    I think the ID given is correct  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Sorry should have said that I thought it was a Montana before I asked and learned it wasn't.  It was the vigorousness that made me think that.  I'm chuffed that it isn't and even chuffed'er that it's evergreen! 😃
