    Cotoneaster horizontalis. Move when dormant keeping as much root intact as you can

  • It looks really good grown up against or 'draped' over a hard surface such as a wall to set off the lovely 'herringbone' pattern of the branches.  Great flowers for bees and berries for birds.  

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
